As an Essex-based Fine Art Photographer people often ask me about my most-loved venue, or my favourite wedding. The answer I give every time? I haven't got one. Every wedding is so totally different and I treasure the relationship I build with every single one of my couples.
My style is natural, romantic and creative; subtly posing and bringing out the details and love in your day to produce timeless and beautiful photographs. The beauty of fine art wedding photography is in its simplicity.
Although things like an ice cream cart and cake is important (trust me, I would know, I'm a huge cake lover) there are few things you're usually able to keep from your day - photographs being one of them. Your wedding pictures should be timeless and classic, they should take you back to the day the rest of your life began, something that will be everlasting.
All of my wedding packages come with full day coverage from getting ready until the first dance, with two fully insured and professional wedding photographers (one, of course, being myself) complete with a CD/USB and presentation box of your fully edited and high-resolution wedding photographs.
As well as contact when you need reassurance or have anything to discuss, you'll also receive a face-to-face consultation or phone call several weeks prior to the big day to ensure every detail and timing is covered.
If you've never been in front of the camera or are a little nervous, all packages come with a weekday or out of season pre-wedding engagement photoshoot to help you both feel at ease, and ensure you're nothing but confident and happy on your day.
For a PDF brochure and price list, or for a free no-obligation consultation please do contact me.
Like many people, travelling is a huge part of my life. I enjoy exploring different countries every year with my loved ones (these pictures can be seen on my blog) and I have been fortunate enough to take my work with me. For destination wedding enquiries, please contact me directly. I am currently doing special offers for 2018 weddings abroad.
Albums are available in a variety of sizes and cover finishes. From beautiful pastel shades to long lasting classic leathers. I spent many years searching for an album supplier who provided fantastic service, amazing print quality and beautiful packaging, and I’m proud to be working with them now.
All albums come printed on specialist fine art paper, hand-made and available in 10x10 and 12x12 sizes.
Can we meet you before we book our wedding photography? Of course! Though it is not compulsory, I always recommend meeting any supplier you book. You can tell a lot from a person just by meeting them. It’s important to know you can trust every vendor who plays a part in your big day.
How many images do we receive? I get this question a lot, and ultimately I cannot say an exact guaranteed number as it depends on each individual wedding. On average you will receive 500-700 fully edited, high-resolution images with personal printing rights.
When will we receive our images? My turn around time for online gallery delivery is 6-8 weeks and 8-12 weeks during peak wedding season (July-September).
Are you insured and do you have back-up equipment? Yes and yes! I am fully insured with public liability insurance as well as business insurance for my equipment.
Do we get the copyright to the images? Copyright is a complex thing - a photographer will usually always own the copyright to your wedding images (if not, the chances are they've charged a lot of extra money to forfeit this). Like many other photographers, I will give you a license to make personal, non-commercial uses of your photos. For example, you can print copies of your wedding photographs yourself (as big or small as you like, as many times as you like – remember, the images will be high-resolution), post them on social media, send them to friends and so on without asking permission. In a nutshell, you can do whatever you like with your wedding photographs, as long as they aren’t used commercially (you can’t send them to other companies, pass them off as your own, or use them for advertising purposes, for example.).
