Jordann & Mike’s Engagement Photo Session
Back in May I had the pleasure of visiting Batesman’s Barn on the Norfolk/Suffolk border for Jordann & Mike’s engagement photo session and venue reconnaisance. The venue itself is a historical barn tucked away in the countryside – perfect for an intimate and cosy affair.
The venue itself is set in the heart of a working farm, with beautiful landscapes and lots of wildlife.
I have known Jordann for several years, so when she asked me to photograph her wedding I of course was delighted – even more so when she said it would be in Norfolk! On the day itself Jordann wanted to make sure her two children (beautiful children I might add) were involved, and I have to say, they were perfectly behaved and gave me lots of smiles!
When reading up about the venue I was enthralled to read about all the ways in which they help the wildlife in the area, pride themselves on being as eco-friendly as possible and work with lots of local organisations to help preserve and protect the land the venue is set upon.
Batesman’s Barn is currently involved in a pioneering project working alongside Natural England and RSPB as a rare habitat and site for breeding rare turtle doves.
