‘A colourful tablescape that doesn’t allow lockdown to stop the celebrations’.
When I was asked to collaborate on a colourful lockdown tablescape shoot I knew I couldn’t say no. Not only was there a gorgeous list of suppliers on board, but it was working alongside clothing brand Never Fully Dressed for an Instagram live series they had put together about how you can still have the best lockdown celebrations and parties without going anywhere and breaking the bank.
The tablecloth itself was made by a company called Fashion Formula. They printed one of Never Fully Dressed dresses’ onto a tablecloth. I’d have never thought of such a great idea, but it really was a showstopper and such a fun and creative concept.
For the styling and planning, it was no other than the amazing Alice Wilkes. Alice is a renowned member of the wedding industry. Working on weddings from London to New York. With a wealth of experience in luxury weddings and events, Alice is a true professional in her field.
The main inspiration for the shoot comes of course from the table cloth itself. Featuring gorgeous vibrant colours and a trendy pattern, it’s an instant mood booster (something I think we all need a little of lately). The colours in the flowers, and the vibrant cutlery really scream summer fun.
The idea t was to show how easy and affordable it is to do something like this at home. You really can turn a simple and small table into a beautiful masterpiece. Scroll down for all the suppliers!
